SKEMA USA welcomes the Director of the Washington, D.C. European Parliament Liaison Office

Published on 17 April 2024

In March, the Raleigh Campus hosted a deeply insightful session on the 2024 European elections with guests from the European Parliament Liaison Office in Washington, D.C.

Students from both SKEMA USA and NC State University were invited to join this session led by Dr. Walter Goetz, Director of the European Parliament Liaison Office in Washington DC, and Mr. Ryan Meilak, Counselor, Head of Outreach and Congressional Liaison. The event was organised in partnership with the Office of Global Engagement (NC State Global) at NC State University.

SKEMA USA Student Office Manager, Najette Outtas, shares: "It was truly an honor to welcome the European Parliament Liaison Office in Washington DC to our campus. Dr. Walter Goetz and Mr. Ryan Meilak enlightened us on the pivotal roles and profound global impact of the European Parliament's decisions, especially in light of the forthcoming European elections in June 2024.

Our SKEMA students seized the opportunity to engage with them, posing insightful questions about the economy, trade, and the future trajectory of Europe."
