Dr. Jonatan Södergren is a marketing researcher and Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Bristol, School of Management University of Bristol.
He earned his PhD in Business Administration from Stockholm University, where he also completed his doctoral dissertation titled “Woke” Authenticity in Brand Culture: A Patchwork Ethnography, exploring how brands project ideological authenticity in transformative ways.
Södergren’s research delves into the intersection of branding, consumer culture theory, and popular culture, with a strong emphasis on aesthetic and literary approaches to marketing.
