Malgré la valeur évidente des développements de l'IA, la question de savoir si et comment l'IA peut représenter un avantage réel demeure. Cet exposé propose une nouvelle compréhension de l'IA, en mettant l'accent sur l'IA agentique, afin d'élucider la manière dont ses possibilités peuvent être exploitées avec succès. À cette fin, je m'appuie sur les théories de l'intelligence (humaine ou artificielle), et je décortique l'architecture de l'IA et la caractérisation des agents, afin d'illustrer les applications actuelles et futures. Grâce à cette étude, j'explique le concept d'IA agentique pour différents objectifs commerciaux, en développant un cadre théorique pour leurs types de configuration et leurs mécanismes, non ancrés dans un label d'IA spécifique.

Biographie : Eleonora Pantano holds a Ph.D. in “Psychology of Programming and Artificial Intelligence” (University of Calabria, Italy), M.Eng. Management (UNiversity of Calabria), and P.G. Cert. Higher Education Teaching and Supporting Learning (Middlesex University London). She is Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA). Before joining the University of Bristol, she was Senior Lecturer at Middlesex University London, and previously Associate Research Fellow at the Technical University of Eindhoven (NL).
