Each campus has specific project management strengths and offers a unique, local feel to the programme. You can choose campuses in Europe and Latin America. ​


The programme is full-time and taught in English at the Lille, Paris, and Belo Horizonte campuses - there are intakes in September (August for Belo), and January.​


Programme outline 


This MSc programme is designed with a comprehensive competency-skills framework, highly sought after by employers in traditional and agile project environments. Students receive training focused on IPMA ICB internationally recognised competencies which include:

  • People competencies, e.g. conflict and crisis, teamwork and, resourcefulness

  • Perspective competencies, e.g. strategy, power & influence, and culture & values

  • Project competencies, e.g. project design, finance, plan & control, and risk & opportunity

These are combined with four power skills:
  1. Communication

  2. Problem-solving

  3. Strategic thinking, and

  4. Collaborative leadership

Students are further able to customise their course of study by choosing campus-specific courses, with three possible destinations:
  • Lille: Strong in global and digital project management, offering diverse European market access, affordability, and a focus on technology, healthcare, logistics, and services. Emphasizes cross-cultural project management skills.

  • Paris: International business hub with a focus on finance, fashion, and luxury. Rich cultural heritage and diverse student body.

  • Belo Horizonte: Thriving business scene, emerging innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Strong commitment to sustainability and dynamic project opportunities.

This programme supports students who wish to develop their business ideas through SKEMA Venture Factory. 


Professional certifi​​cations for project management experts


In the fall semester, we offer foundation level AgilePM® and SCRUM Master certification and in the spring semester, we offer the PMI’s CAPM® (or PMP®) and GPM’s Green Project Management® certification. All students receive access to the Belbin industry-recognised personal team and leadership development tool, one-year PMI membership, and introductory media to prepare for entry to the programme.​

In-company projects and assign​ments


During your internship, you will develop your knowledge and project management competencies by working on in-company projects, assisting project, programme or portfolio managers, develop specific new tools and techniques, market new products, solve problems or do research on project management best practices. SKEMA will provide you with help to find an internship or jobs through a global network of industry partnerships, alumni and collaborators.

Companies regularly visit and contribute to courses (Bouygues Telecom, Projexion, Team Square, Elis, CGI) providing a strong sense of professional realism and insight into their project, programme, PMO and consulting roles. Students are encouraged every year to participate in company challenges, such as the “Airbus Project Management Masters Challenge”, “How to win new business?” with a director from Bouygues Telecom or solving a consulting case study with CGI Business Consulting.

Scholarships in the form of high quality online accredited training courses in sought-after project management areas are available at no cost to selected students. These scholarships are provided by our learning partner Training Byte Size in subjects such as agile, PRINCE2, business analysis, business benefits, project planning and control. About the degree

By joining an MSc, students obtain a master of science degree and the "Diploma of Specialised Studies in International Management" (DESMI), a degree approved by France's Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (master's level. More info - text in French).
