How to find accommodation in Paris

It is important to find accommodation as soon as possible as there is a high demand for student housing in Paris.

SKEMA Business School's Paris campus is located in the Pôle Universitaire Léonard de Vinci, at the heart of La Défense business district. This modern area is a 10-minute metro ride from Champs-Elysées and 20 minutes from the Eiffel Tower.

SKEMA Business School assists its current and future students to search for accommodation via its online Housing Platform where various offers are posted. SKEMA Housing platform is the key resource for accommodation search.

Information about accommodation in Paris area is also available on:

  • The Welcome Pack: The details are sent by e-mail to newly-enrolled students after they receive a confirmation of admission
  • YEP (Your Education Portal) for current students
  • The official Facebook group SKEMA Housing

University residences

Students who would like to live in a university residence in Paris area can make a request a few months before the start of the school year. Start your search from the list of residences near SKEMA's Paris campus .

Please note that students may need to have a guarantor – a person or an organisation that will guarantee the payment of the rent and bills in case of default on your part. Their financial resources must correspond to at least three times the amount of the rent.

CROUS

The mission of CROUS (regional centres of university and academic services) is to assist in improving students' life and work conditions. Apartments in university residences are usually managed by CROUS and are the cheapest lodging option. The CROUS of Paris, Versailles and Créteil manage places for accommodation, ranging from furnished rooms to three-room flats in a great number of student residences. They are allocated according to an applicant's social criteria (parents' income, distance, and so on). For the academic year 2020/2021, the application should be submitted online between May 5th, and June 22nd 2020. Complementary admissions are made during summer and at the beginning of the school year based on remaining places.
