SKEMA Motors Club

Overview

The SKEMA Motors Club is an association focused on motorsports, which aims to promote this environment among students and to transmit a passion for automobiles, while raising awareness of new green automotive technologies.

Keys events

Lille

• The Inter-Association Grand Prix, which sees all of SKEMA Business School's Lille associations compete on a kart track.
• Participation in the 24 Hours of Essec, a kart endurance race held jointly with the 3 French Camous.
• Mario-Kart IRL, a kart race on a virtual reality track inspired by video games.
• Participation in races such as the 4L Trophy and the Europ'raid, a three-week humanitarian trip across Europe in a Peugeot 205.
• The Red Bull event, where the brand comes to campus with simulators and reflex walls to showcase what Red Bull is doing in motorsports.
• Kart sessions for students to challenge each other.
• Broadcasts of the Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Sophia

• Monaco Electric Grand Prix, held between April and May, we collaborate each year with Xtrem to offer prizes, highlighting the ecological aspect of motorsport.
• Karting, Inter-association Grand Prix, also in collaboration with Xtrem, organizing a karting day with or without prizes (depending on the event) open to all students.
• (Coming soon) 24H of ESSEC, tri-campus participation in a major karting competition bringing together several schools. The principle is the same as the 24H of Le Mans: a 24-hour non-stop karting race with a team of up to 10 members.
• (Coming soon) Following the acquisition of a driving simulator, we will organize time trials on a simulator, open to all students. 5. (Coming soon) 4L Trophy, in collaboration with the BDS, a rally race for 18-28 year olds.
