DMaLSE: Decommissioning Management and Leadership for Safety Education
DMaLSE is an EU-INSC capacity-building project dedicated to strengthening leadership and safety culture in nuclear decommissioning projects.
Building capacity through an innovative, science-based training programme, with a view to ensuring effective safety management and leadership in nuclear decommissioning projects.
DMaLSE is a capacity-building project funded under the EU-INSC programme, dedicated to strengthening leadership and safety culture in Nuclear Decommissioning Projects (NDPs).
At the heart of the project, the Decomplex training programme supports early- and mid-career managers in navigating the complexity of Nuclear Decommissioning Projects.
Designed in collaboration with leading academic and industry experts, this research-based programme provides practical management and leadership tools to enhance safety, efficiency, and risk management throughout the lifecycle of NDPs.
Unlike traditional technical training programmes, Decomplex takes a holistic approach, focusing on the interplay between regulatory, safety, social, and organisational challenges. This enables participants to develop the skills needed to effectively manage complex projects in highly regulated and evolving environments.
