Anthony Ledru: the brilliance of a big-hearted leader celebrated by SKEMA

On 27 May 2025, SKEMA Business School honoured one of its most distinguished ambassadors during a special evening event in Paris. Surrounded by a close circle of alumni and friends of the school, Anthony Ledru – a 1995 graduate of the Master in Management (PGE) programme and now President and CEO of Tiffany & Co. – received the SKEMA Leadership Award 2025, recognising his outstanding career and unwavering commitment to his alma mater.
The evening, both elegant and emotional, was a reflection of the man it celebrated. While Anthony Ledru’s name now shines at the summit of the global luxury industry, the tribute focused above all on his deep attachment to SKEMA’s values. Each year, the SKEMA Leadership Award honours an alumnus or alumna for remarkable engagement with the school – through philanthropy, mentoring, or support for scholarship funding. This year, the award carried special resonance.
“What I’ve become, I owe in part to SKEMA. It’s an honour to now help open doors for others.”
“Anthony perfectly embodies the spirit and values of SKEMA: boldness, excellence, humility and generosity,” said Jean-Philippe Courtois, Chair of the Board of SKEMA and of the alumni network, as he presented the award. Alice Guilhon, Dean and Executive President of SKEMA, also paid a warm and admiring tribute to him, setting the tone for an evening marked by sincerity and admiration.
Three scholarship students as a living symbol of solidarity
A highlight of the evening was the presence of three students – Miradie, Amyra and Liza – who represent the next generation of SKEMA talent. Liza, currently an intern at Tiffany, shared her emotion at working daily within a company led by such an inspiring alumnus. Amyra and Miradie, for their part, are both recipients of scholarships made possible by alumni generosity through the Alumni for Good campaign. Their presence offered a vivid reminder that philanthropy is more than a gesture – it’s a powerful force for changing lives.
An evening dedicated to legacy and the future
The dinner brought together some of the most emblematic figures of SKEMA’s alumni network and governance. From Jean-Philippe Courtois (Microsoft), to Fabienne Arata (LinkedIn), Patrice Courtaban (TV5 Monde), Julie Pellet (Livy), and Laurent Dugimont (Amazon), a constellation of influential voices came together to celebrate the achievements of a peer – and to look ahead to the school’s future.
Warm and forward-looking, the event also aimed to strengthen ties with major donors by sharing recent developments at SKEMA, its strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, and the ambitions of its philanthropic roadmap. It was a moment of dialogue across generations, career paths, and visions for a fairer world.
True to his nature, Anthony Ledru spoke with sincerity and strength:
“What I’ve become, I owe in part to SKEMA. It’s an honour to now help open doors for others.” Through him, an entire community shines – and a powerful message resonates: success finds its fullest meaning when it is shared.
