Design Your Career 2025: a key event for building career plans
On 15 and 16 September in Lille, 17 September in Paris, and 19 September in Sophia, the Design Your Career event brought together all students around a shared ambition: to shape their professional future.
Organised by the Talent & Careers team, this immersive experience combined theoretical input, discussions with professionals, and practical workshops. A true milestone in the student journey, it reflects SKEMA’s comprehensive approach to employability, while fostering commitment and responsibility. “Design Your Career reflects our determination to place students at the centre of their career planning. By combining theory, dialogue and practice, we give them the tools to plan ahead, take responsibility and move into action,” explains Romain Dulaurou, Project Manager of Design Your Career and Career Consultant within Talent & Careers.
Among the highlights, the gamified workshop Unlock Your Career, developed with Pimp My Career, stood out for its ability to make abstract concepts such as career projection and skills development more accessible. Bachelor 3 and Master 1 students also received clear guidance on choosing academic tracks through discussions with their programme advisors.
Engaging with SKEMA’s partners
Throughout the event, Talent & Careers welcomed and guided students, who also had the chance to connect with a range of leading partners: APEC, Brio, Central Test, LinkedIn, recruitment firms, SKEMA Alumni, JobTeaser, SKEMA Entrepreneurs… Experts shared advice, tools, and concrete feedback. A professional photo booth allowed students to leave with a polished portrait for their CV and LinkedIn profile.
