Emmanuel Combe Goes On Air Every Morning on Radio Classique
Five mornings a week, a SKEMA voice now joins the early hours of Radio Classique (Les Echos–Le Parisien Group). Emmanuel Combe, Professor of Economics, has joined the station’s lineup with his new segment, “Les Coulisses de l'Economie”
If you're not up and listening at 6:15 a.m., there's always the replay. Emmanuel Combe now appears Monday through Friday on Radio Classique with a new feature dedicated to unpacking the economic forces behind the headlines.
In “Behind the Scenes of Economics,” the former Chairman of the French Competition Authority starts with a current issue and explains the underlying mechanisms that drive it. French productivity, air transport statistics (one of his areas of expertise), higher education, the effectiveness of economic sanctions, and public debt have already been the focus of his first commentaries.
From Print and Television to the Radio Studio
Readers of the business press are already familiar with Emmanuel Combe’s analysis. A columnist for L’Opinion and a regular contributor to Les Echos, the university professor has been a prominent voice in public debates on competition policy, industrial strategy, protectionism, and air transportation for many years.
With Radio Classique, he is now bringing that same ability to explain complex economic issues to a broader radio audience. It is a welcome addition at a time when economic uncertainty and complexity can often seem difficult to grasp for non-specialists.
