Belo Horizonte: Innovation Week challenge winners take part in an exclusive experience with entrepreneurs
In recognition of the solutions they developed in response to real-life challenges set by SKEMA’s corporate partners, students took part in a special programme combining learning, networking and engagement with the business world.
The winners of the Innovation Week 2026 challenges were invited to an exclusive experience designed to reward the solutions they devised in response to real-life business issues submitted by SKEMA’s corporate partners.
The programme featured two sessions focused on professional development and direct dialogue with entrepreneurs, giving students fresh perspectives on career choices, decision-making and business creation.
Workshop explores productivity and decision-making
The first session was a workshop entitled “How to avoid getting stuck at work: productivity and decision-making”, led by Dudu Obregon.
Students explored practical tools and ideas to help them overcome obstacles, set priorities and make clearer decisions in their professional lives.
Connecting with entrepreneurship and innovation
The experience also featured a Pizza with a Founder session with Pedro Vasconcellos, co-founder of Woba, Latin America’s largest network of flexible workspaces.
A serial entrepreneur with international experience working with global start-ups, Pedro shared stories, lessons and challenges from his entrepreneurial journey. The session gave students an opportunity to discuss business creation, innovation and career development with an experienced founder.
Learning beyond the classroom
The initiative reflects SKEMA’s commitment to connecting academic learning, practical experience and engagement with the business world.
By creating opportunities for students to interact with professionals, entrepreneurs and companies, the school helps them develop key career skills and encourages them to turn knowledge into action.
More than a reward for winning the challenges, the experience offered students new insights, connections and perspectives to support the next steps in their careers.
