On May 24th, in celebration of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France, CCI FRANCE CHINE hosted its annual Gala dinner, inviting over 900 business executives from both nations. During the event, SKEMA was awarded the 'Sino-French Partnership Award' in recognition of its significant contributions to international educational cooperation.

The award was presented to Dr. Alice Guilhon, Dean and Executive President of SKEMA, by S.E.M. Bertrand Lortholary, French Ambassador to China.

The 2024 Gala saw participation from government leaders, corporate executives, and various media outlets. The event underscored the enduring partnership between China and France, marked by six decades of diplomatic engagement.

Over the past 15 years, SKEMA has made strides in integrating with the Chinese educational system. Achievements include the establishment of the Suzhou campus in 2009 as well as the International Joint Audit School in collaboration with Nanjing Audit University in 2020, aimed at fostering educational exchanges and cultivating international audit talents. Additionally, SKEMA has partnered with Xi'an Jiaotong University to create a Master's degree program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, focusing on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Management. This program, started in 2020, is designed to develop future leaders in entrepreneurship and innovation.

“As SKEMA continues to strengthen its ties with China, the school remains committed to advancing educational exchanges and fostering international collaboration. The 2024 Gala highlighted the importance of such partnerships in promoting mutual understanding and growth between China and France,” said Matthieu Dumont, director of SKEMA China.
