On 5 July, La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt hosted the 2025 Graduation Ceremony of SKEMA Business School. In this prestigious venue, over 2,400 graduates from across all campuses came together to celebrate the completion of their academic journey, joined by nearly 6,600 family members and guests.

This milestone moment will remain etched in memory. This year’s ceremony placed a spotlight on the diversity of paths, the collective spirit, and the shared commitments of an entire class. Speaking on stage, Alice Guilhon, Dean and Executive President of SKEMA, emphasised the structuring role of education in a changing world. “You have been exceptional cohorts, bringing great diversity and unique experiences that have enriched our school. At SKEMA, we’ve done our best to support you so that, through your learning and experiences, you can play a part in shaping this ever-evolving world. Your impact will shift the lines,” she said.

A highlight of the event was the speech by Benjamin Ferré (SKEMA 2015), Vendée Globe sailor and graduate of the 2015 class. With honesty and emotion, he shared his reflections: “Five months after finishing the Vendée Globe, I feel something close to what you’re experiencing today—a sense of fulfilment, coupled with that gentle uncertainty of a blank page yet to be written.” He spoke of the value of networks, boldness, and intuition, and urged graduates to forge their own course: “Your diploma is your harbour. Today, we celebrate your launch. So go—dare, try, venture.”
