The event welcomed students from the Global BBA and ESDHEM programmes, marking the beginning of a new academic and multicultural experience in Brazil.

SKEMA Business School Brazil welcomed 132 international students to begin a new academic term on its Belo Horizonte campus. Hailing from several countries, the students enrolled in the Global BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration) and ESDHEM (Études Supérieures Droit, Économie, Management) programmes will spend either one semester or a full year in Brazil.

To mark the beginning of their experience, SKEMA held an Orientation Day to welcome the new international students and help them settle in. The programme introduced them to the school and provided practical information about life in Belo Horizonte, including transport, safety and daily life in Brazil.

The event also offered students their first introduction to the culture and distinctive character of Minas Gerais and Belo Horizonte, helping them settle in and forge new connections from their first days on campus.

A campus connected to the world

The arrival of the international students highlights one of the defining features of the SKEMA experience: the international dimension of daily academic life.

By sharing the campus with students from different countries and cultures, they broaden their horizons, build an international network and encounter new perspectives both inside and outside the classroom.

This multicultural environment reflects SKEMA’s commitment to preparing professionals for diverse and interconnected workplaces, while developing skills such as collaboration, adaptability and an international outlook.

A warm welcome to everyone joining SKEMA Belo Horizonte. May your time in Brazil be filled with new connections, discoveries and learning experiences.
