SKEMA Business School’s Digital Hub has been named among the finalists of the prestigious QS Reimagine Education Awards 2025, in the category Innovation in Business Education. The project was selected from more than a thousand submissions from institutions worldwide after a demanding first round of evaluation.

This marks an important step forward: SKEMA’s Digital Hub was shortlisted by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) from over 1,600 projects, placing it in the top 20% of initiatives assessed internationally.

These physical spaces, overseen by the Innovation & Learner Experience Department, are designed to raise awareness and provide support to students, faculty and staff in the use of emerging technologies, notably artificial intelligence and immersive learning. Each day, practical activities are offered to test, understand and integrate these tools. Faculty members receive tailored guidance to design their own immersive cases, while students can explore a wide library of scenarios, accessible both on campus and remotely.

The Digital Hubs embody SKEMA’s ambition to provide students with learning experiences that enable them to understand, experiment with and master emerging technologies.

Every year, the QS Reimagine Education Awards attract over a thousand applications from leading higher education institutions around the globe. Submissions are assessed by a jury of more than 800 international experts against several criteria. In the Innovation in Business Education category, the evaluation focuses on:

  • curricular innovation (50%);
  • observed or potential impact on learners (30%);
  • accessibility, diversity and inclusion (20%).

Testing, adopting and mastering emerging technologies

“Being shortlisted by QS for this project is strong recognition of the pedagogical approach we are developing through the Digital Hubs,” says Denys Giordano, Digital Project Manager within SKEMA’s Innovation & Learner Experience Department. Nathalie Hector, Director of the department, adds: “The Digital Hubs embody our ambition to provide students with learning experiences that allow them to understand, test and master emerging technologies. They reflect SKEMA’s innovative DNA.”

Creating meaningful learning experiences

This recognition highlights SKEMA’s commitment to the digital transformation of higher education. The Digital Hubs are a powerful lever to prepare our students for future skills, in direct connection with the changing world of work,” concludes Pierre-Paul Cavalié, Digital Director within the Innovation & Learner Experience Department.
