Student Fashion Show in Paris Celebrates Borderless Creativity and Cultural Exchange
On October 4, 2026, students will transform one of Paris’s iconic venues into a showcase of creativity, diversity, and emerging talent as the fourth edition of CatCoWalk takes over the Salon des Miroirs. Organized by Belle Rive, SKEMA Business School's fashion association, in collaboration with Runway from ESCP Business School, the event will explore the theme “Borderless, the Sublime Convergence of Worlds.”
At a time when fashion increasingly serves as a platform for dialogue, identity, and cultural expression, CatCoWalk invites participants and spectators alike to rethink the boundaries that separate styles, influences, and creative traditions. Through original student-designed collections, the event will celebrate a vision of fashion that transcends borders and encourages new perspectives.
A Student Fashion Competition Spotlighting Emerging Talent
More than a fashion show, CatCoWalk is a creative competition designed to showcase the work of young designers and aspiring industry professionals.
Participants will present their creations before an audience expected to range from 200 to 400 attendees, as well as a jury composed of professionals from the worlds of fashion, entrepreneurship, and design.
Each collection will offer a unique interpretation of the 2026 theme, exploring how different cultures, aesthetics, and artistic influences can come together to create something entirely new.
At the conclusion of the event, one designer will receive a €1,000 award recognizing the creativity, originality, and execution of their collection.
Fashion as a Space for Connection and Expression
This year’s theme, “Borderless, the Sublime Convergence of Worlds,” reflects the growing role of fashion as a universal language.
By encouraging participants to draw inspiration from multiple cultural references and artistic traditions, CatCoWalk seeks to highlight the richness that emerges when ideas intersect. The event challenges students to question traditional boundaries between disciplines, identities, and creative practices while presenting fashion as a space for innovation and dialogue.
For many participants, it is also an opportunity to gain practical experience in fashion production, event management, branding, and creative direction while building connections within a broader student and professional network.
A Collaborative Student-Led Event
The 2026 edition is supported by several institutional and student partners, including CVEC, CROUS de Versailles, CASK, SKEMA Business School, and Insight.
Their support helps make CatCoWalk an accessible platform for emerging creators while strengthening collaboration across the student community.
By bringing together students from different schools, backgrounds, and disciplines, the event has become a growing fixture in Paris’s student cultural scene, offering a unique space where creativity and entrepreneurship meet.
An Upcoming Highlight of Student Life in Paris
As preparations continue, organizers are looking forward to welcoming fashion enthusiasts, designers, artists, and curious spectators for an evening dedicated to imagination and bold ideas.
With its focus on diversity, artistic experimentation, and cultural exchange, CatCoWalk 2026 promises to be one of the most distinctive student fashion events in Paris this year, demonstrating how the next generation of creators is redefining the future of fashion.
