On 4 November 2026, TEDxSKEMA will make its debut on the Sophia Antipolis campus. Led by several Master in Management (PGE) students, TEDxSKEMA Sophia Antipolis will bring together 490 attendees around the theme “Architectures of the improbable”. This first edition has already attracted the attention of several regional media outlets.

A first for Sophia Antipolis

After four editions held on the Grand Paris campus, TEDxSKEMA will take place in Sophia Antipolis for the first time.

This fifth edition will also be the first to be organised under an independent licence. It will have its own name: TEDxSKEMA Sophia Antipolis.

“Its theme, ‘Architectures of the improbable’, will explore how ideas, projects and achievements that once seemed unlikely are built. The talks will span four fields: management and business, science, art and sport,” explains Mathys Cavelier, a first-year Master in Management (PGE) student and one of the organisers of the event.

One question will run through the discussions: how can an intuition, a bold decision or a break with convention take shape and change the course of a project or a life?

SKEMA Ventures Club takes the lead

The event is being organised by the SKEMA Ventures Club team: Milo Somnier-Meyer, president; Mathys Cavelier, vice-president; Vladimir Gliznitsa, events manager; and Yoann Napolier. The group is preparing this first edition alongside SKEMA teams.

Founded in 2020, the association is active in Sophia Antipolis, Lille and Paris, as well as Belo Horizonte in Brazil. Its five active members have organised five events since September 2025, including a “start-up kafé” and a hackathon dedicated to Lovable.

With TEDxSKEMA Sophia Antipolis, the club is moving to a new scale. On 4 November, it will welcome 490 attendees for this new event.
