SKEMA Business School has announced the signing of 30 new academic partnership agreements of excellence across 25 countries and regions. This momentum goes beyond the traditional framework of university exchange programmes and forms part of a broader ambition: to build one of the most integrated global higher education platforms in the sector.

Among SKEMA’s 30 new partners are Waseda University (Japan), CEIBS (China), IE Business School (Spain), several Indian Institutes of Management (India), Maastricht University (the Netherlands), and Harvard Division of Continuing Education in the United States. These agreements bring together both leading international business schools and major research universities.

Europe, Asia, the Americas and Africa: a global footprint

These new partnerships span four continents. Europe accounts for 17 new agreements, while Asia is the primary driver of this expansion, with nine new partners across India, China, Japan, Taiwan and Thailand. SKEMA is also strengthening its presence in the Americas, from the United States to Uruguay, including Argentina and Colombia, while continuing its development in Africa through new collaborations in Tunisia.

This momentum supports the ambitions of SKEMA’s UNVEIL 2025–2030 strategic plan, which also includes the opening of two new locations in India and Australia.

“We are not seeking to simply accumulate agreements. We are building a coherent global ecosystem that gives our students privileged access to the best academic, economic and cultural environments in every region of the world,” said Alice Guilhon, Dean & Executive President and Patrice Houdayer, Executive Vice President, Global Academic Affairs & International.

A network of the world’s most selective partners

With these 30 new agreements, SKEMA now has a network of 210 academic partners of excellence worldwide. Nearly 90% are internationally accredited or ranked among the world’s top 100 universities in leading rankings such as the Financial Times, QS and Shanghai rankings. Eight of the new partners hold the prestigious AACSB–EQUIS–AMBA triple accreditation.

Among the most significant agreements is the partnership with Harvard Division of Continuing Education. From September 2026, 40 students from the MSc Strategic Management & Consulting programme will spend three weeks each year studying at Harvard Summer School, forming one of the largest international cohorts hosted by the university.

A Strategy focused on broadening access to world-class institutions

Beyond the prestige associated with these partnerships, SKEMA’s priority is to provide its students with genuine access to the world’s leading institutions.

Each year, the school offers:

  • 60 places at New York University School of Professional Studies;
  • 40 places at UCLA Extension;
  • 40 places at UC Berkeley;
  • 40 places through the triple master programme with Loyola University (New Orleans) and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich;
  • 40 places at Harvard Division of Continuing Education (Harvard Summer School).

Together, these five schemes represent almost 220 places at some of the world’s most sought-after institutions, a level of access rarely achieved in French higher education.

The strength of a unique hybrid model

SKEMA’s distinctive approach lies in the combination of its global network of partner institutions and its own international campuses.

Each year, nearly 3,000 students undertake an international academic mobility experience through SKEMA campuses or its partner network.

In the United States, the School offers almost 1,800 mobility opportunities through its Raleigh campus, which can accommodate up to 1,500 students, complemented by several major partnerships.

In China, nearly 2,900 students study each year across SKEMA’s Suzhou and Nanjing campuses, as well as through partner institutions such as CEIBS, Xi’an Jiaotong University and the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).

Towards a genuine global higher education platform

Beyond student mobility, these agreements reflect a change in scale. In response to growing global competition, SKEMA is developing a platform model capable of connecting campuses, academic partners, companies, research centres and innovation ecosystems.

With 10 international locations, 210 academic partners of excellence, 11,000 students representing more than 130 nationalities, thousands of mobility opportunities each year, and expansion projects in India and Australia, SKEMA is continuing its transformation into a truly global higher education platform.
