Doing a two-year MSc programme after my three-year bachelor's allowed me to gain first hand practical knowledge from experienced professors and practitioners at SKEMA. The first year of the programme helped us gain knowledge about a wide range of topics like business management, marketing techniques and corporate finance. With the high number of international students, it was interesting and exciting to work and share thoughts with students from different parts of the world. It was also a great opportunity for me to be able to change my campus, which allowed me to live and experience a different city after my first year.   In the second year, I'm doing the MSc in Financial Markets & Investments. It is of course more technical as I'm specialising in the investment banking field. We've acquired practical knowledge about ways to value a company, how to price various derivative products and strategies when acquiring a company. These topics are broken down and taught in detail by highly experienced practitioners in the field.   This programme allows me to network and make connections with people from different walks of life. Students are also able to take benefit from career counselling sessions provided by SKEMA to help students improve their job interview skills and help them have a better opportunity of securing a job once they have completed their course.
