“I was very happy to find an MSc programme that is entirely dedicated to the field of corporate finance. It touches upon many functions and techniques of financial management, such as financial analysis, project finance, asset and corporate valuation and financial modelling. The courses provided me with the necessary tools for my desired future job. Our group consisted of about 40% international students. With a little effort from all and numerous team work projects, we were able to build a great community throughout the year. The majority of our lecturers were internationals with a wide variety of backgrounds from the academic and corporate worlds. One of the projects we did was the planning, structuring and modelling of an off-shore wind park project that we did in the second semester. It was a great challenge and felt much like real work experience. I've started working with Ernst & Young in Munich as a consultant in Transaction Advisory Services. I’ll be working on all kinds of projects in corporate valuation, due diligence, restructuring and M&A lead advice. I’m happy so far and plan to spend the next couple of years doing that job.
