This MSc comprised all the important subjects in corporate finance. In areas like M&A, accounting, financial modelling and financial strategy, I obtained detailed knowledge. Actual events and cases, for instance company takeovers or big incidents with influence on the economy, were also followed and discussed during the lectures. The professors were a perfect mix of academics and experienced professionals. This balanced excellently the share of theoretical and direct application of knowledge. Additionally, the diverse backgrounds of lecturers in terms of nationality and/or occupation provided us with very different viewpoints on topics. This diversity was true as well for the students who came from more than ten different countries only in our master programme. If one’s future dream job is in the areas of M&A, auditing, consulting or corporate finance in general, this MSc is the ideal preparation. Not surprisingly, I and many of my fellow students had job offers even before finishing the degree.
