Before doing this MSc, I was working at HSBC as a financial analyst. I came to do the MSc here at SKEMA because I wanted to learn how companies work from the inside. I have not been disappointed; the experience has been great! It was kind of intensive and a challenge at times, but I liked that- it was what I was looking for. I extended my knowledge especially in the subjects of Mergers & Acquisitions, Advanced Financial Strategy (how to buy / evaluate stocks), and Management Accounting & Control. I’ve also really enjoyed the dynamism and diversity of the classes. There were students from lots of other countries, all speaking English together. Being with, and working with, people from such multicultural backgrounds was a rich learning experience in itself.
