I chose this MSc as it's one of the top masters in finance worldwide. In the end, I discovered that it was much more than this. This programme gave me all the required knowledge for a career in finance. The second semester programme splits in two different tracks according to students’ interests. Most of the courses in the tracks are taught by actual professionals, giving an insider’s point of view. While the class composition itself consisted of people from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds. Every month, we had conferences on hot topics presented by professionals that work in top tier banks and financial institutions. In addition we had the chance to do many trading simulations on our Bloomberg terminals and work on real-life cases studies. Before even finishing my second semester, I had already signed my contract with Société Générale for an internship in their Equity Research department. This degree helped me get that position.
