Class of 2016-17 "In the MSc Financial Markets & Investments, you become really aware of all the relevant news. The 24/7 access to Bloomberg terminals is a gold mine to understand markets, get relevant and trusted sources, and use financial tools. Programming in VBA, presenting and creating case studies, working in a team made of seven different nationalities have been critical to building a solid profile. Through the year, you manage portfolios, evaluate companies, and price contracts like a professional would.   Thanks to the preparation and responsiveness of teachers, the administration and the SKEMA Investment Banking Club we visited top financial firms in New York and Washington, building our network and taking the best practice for the American way of doing business.   Studying on the Raleigh Campus allowed me to pursue the OPT, the working visa for international students on the US territory. Two months after my last exam I am living in San Francisco, writing my final thesis on sustainable finance and working as a financial analyst in BeeBell, a successful machine-learning events recommendation start-up, located in the Plug and Play Tech Centre, the biggest worldwide startups tech accelerator, right in the heart of Silicon Valley.”
