I used to study finance for my bachelor’s degree in Vietnam but I could never remember all the formulae because I didn’t really know what they were for; it was all just theory. After this MSc, I now understand everything much better. With Bloomberg software, we access up-to-minute market data and apply directly what we’ve learnt in class to current moving market situations. On the MSc programme, we were taught by current managers from banks or financial firms, like BNP, and we did reports as real analysts do, so now I am equipped with all the skills for my future career. Moreover, with interesting simulations, I gained knowledge about how the market moves and is traded, but also had fun with my classmates from all over the world. Now I am going to go back to Vietnam to work as a market risk analyst in a commercial bank. With the MSc Financial Markets & Investments, I now know that even without any prior work experience or training, I can start my job immediately and handle it competently.
