Métamorphose

Overview

Métamorphose is an association established in 1994 within SKEMA Business School's Lille campus. Its goal is to promote fashion, haute couture, and, to a lesser extent, streetwear within the school. Comprising over thirty passionate members for the 2025 term, we organize fashion shows in collaboration with designers in Paris and Lille, as well as charitable events to fund the humanitarian missions of other associations at the school.

Impact

Metamorphose raises awareness within the SKEMA student community and beyond through initiatives related to fashion, beauty, and luxury, with a focus on CSR through charitable events like the Skmet Gala, supporting the missions of HOPE. Furthermore, the association promotes sustainable fashion and upcycling in its fashion shows, highlighting the importance of reusing materials and responsible practices in the fashion industry.

Keys events

• The Walk Of Skem (WOS) is an inter-associative fashion show. At the beginning of each semester, SKEMA Lille’s student associations parade through Hall A, following a designated theme. In January 2025, SKEMA was transformed into a true movie set to host this fourth edition.
• The S’Met Gala is a charity gala organized in collaboration with HOPE (SKEMA’s humanitarian association) to fund their international missions. Inspired by the Met Gala, this year’s edition will bring together more than 200 people around a common cause and the theme: “Spring’s Renaissance: Fashion in Bloom.”
• Inspired by *Vogue*, Métamorphose is launching the very first edition of the Métagazine. This publication features photoshoots, articles, and fashion advice, in collaboration with SKEMA’s other fashion associations: Belle Rive (Paris) & Avenue Montaigne (Sophia).
• The Concept Store, a brand-new event this year, is an CSR initiative aimed at promoting second-hand fashion and sustainable style. Led by committed members, this project seeks to create a true ecosystem around two key pillars: fashion & social responsibility.
• The Défilé Créateur (DC) is Métamorphose’s main event —a fashion show bringing together hundreds of guests in a spectacular setting. Featuring a pre-show, a runway, and an after-party, this event welcomes models and designers from all over France, offering an unforgettable experience for one extraordinary night.
