Overview
Skip the Beat Festival is a student association that organizes a House and Tech festival every year, as well as many other events around House and Techno and its universe throughout the year.
Keys events
- Bouilloire (inspired by the English "boiler room", Skip The Beat has revisited the concept with its kettles. These are DJ sets where members of the association can perform and introduce SKEMA students to SKB-style electronic music: disco, house, trance, techno, you name it!
- Open Air (Open-air evening during the month of September/October with a major artist, often in collaboration with other schools. This event is an opportunity to dance under the sun and introduce the association to the people of Lille!)
- Festival (After 7 editions, the Skip The Beat festival is the association's flagship event, promoting SKEMA in the metropolis by promising an evening with big-name artists from the French and international electronica scene)
- Apero Mix (Apéro Mixes are the association's most frequent events. These are bar parties where our members can mix in front of a real crowd and get the whole of SKEMA moving!)
