Mission & objectives of the Chair
The “Generative AI for Good” Chair, established by SKEMA with Microsoft, promotes the responsible and ethical use of generative artificial intelligence for society, business, and education. It supports SKEMA’s strategy to integrate AI as a core skill and develop talent for digital and sustainable transformation.
Its objectives are manifold:
- Accelerate the integration of generative AI into education by developing innovative tools, such as the SKEMA AI Tutor, for personalised learning.
- Strengthen research and knowledge sharing on responsible AI use, addressing ethical, societal, and environmental challenges.
- Develop ‘future-ready’ skills by providing the SKEMA community—including students, lecturers, and staff—with access to Microsoft solutions and resources, such as Copilot and advanced training modules.
- Promote a responsible digital culture aligned with the ‘Digital & Data for Good’ pillar of the SKEMA Transitions plan, supporting inclusion and sustainability.
A partnership with Microsoft
To accelerate AI integration in its courses and organizational transformation, SKEMA announces the creation of the “Generative AI for Good” Chair in collaboration with Microsoft.
SKEMA is the first business school in France to deploy Microsoft’s AI solutions, including Microsoft Copilot, for its entire community of staff, lecturers, and students.
The Chair will also provide access to Microsoft’s “Future-ready skills” resources, complementing the concepts and applications already developed within SKEMA’s programmes.
