Dubai: SKEMA and LVMH launch the Retail Excellence & Client Relationship Management track of the MSc in Global Luxury & Management

The new Retail Excellence & Client Relationship Management track of SKEMA Business School’s MSc in Global Luxury & Management was inaugurated in Dubai during a two-day seminar, held in partnership with LVMH. Students, faculty members and group experts gathered for an immersion into the codes and practices of the luxury industry.

Over the course of two days, students, professors and LVMH experts explored the world of luxury retail. The programme opened with Emmanuelle Rigaud-Lacresse, Director of the MSc Global Luxury & Management, who introduced the curriculum and its objectives. This was followed by an address from Robin Langlais, CEO of Chaumet and SKEMA alumnus, who shared his insights on the dynamics of the luxury market in the region.

The event also featured the official launch of the Retail Excellence & Client Relationship Management Certificate. This new certificate, awarded to students upon completion of the track, was unveiled by Olympia Mantzourou, Global Academic Relations Director at LVMH, alongside Philippe Sauvan, Dr Léa Kiwan-Daniel, Rajaa El Mezouaghi and Sonia Maghraoui.

 

Hands-on workshops

The experience continued with practical workshops where students developed client scenarios to better understand brand identity and engagement strategies. A first-of-its-kind session in the region then gave participants the opportunity to meet with LVMH HR managers during a recruitment speed-dating event, following personalised career coaching sessions—opening the door to future professional opportunities.

 

An alliance of academia and industry

This launch highlights the complementarity between academic excellence and sector expertise. Delivered entirely in English, the track places client relations and innovation at the heart of training, equipping students to join a sector that is in constant transformation.
