Research: SKEMA professors among the world’s most cited researchers
Six SKEMA professors appear in the Stanford University's list of the World's Top 2% Scientists, developed by John P.A. Ioannidis (Stanford University) in collaboration with Elsevier. This list, based on Scopus data, identifies the world’s most cited researchers through standardized indicators of scientific output and impact. These senior faculty members were listed as thought leaders in the fields of Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, and Operations Research. Their achievement highlights the different areas where research at SKEMA makes a difference.

Six SKEMA faculty members are recognised in this ranking in 2025:
- Florencio López-de-Silanes : Professor of Finance and Economics, member of the Finance & Accounting Insights on Risk and Regulation research centre, Director of the Crystal X SKEMA Chair “Responsible Wealth Management and Sustainable Finance” recognised for his work on business law, governance and international markets.
- Margherita Pagani : Professor of Marketing and Director of the SKEMA Centre for Artificial Intelligence, specialist in digital marketing and artificial intelligence.
- Armin Schwienbacher : Professor of Finance, member of the Finance & Accounting Insights on Risk and Regulation centre, expert in entrepreneurship and innovation finance.
- Chitu Okoli : Professor of Information Systems, member of the SKEMA Centre for Artificial Intelligence, whose research focuses on the digital economy and platform governance.
- Hélène Cherrier : Professor of Marketing, member of SKEMA research centre Marketing Interactions, specialist in responsible consumption and sustainable behaviours.
- Xavier Brusset : Professor of Supply Chain and Operations Research, member of the SKEMA Centre for Analytics and Management Science, whose work addresses logistics and supply chain resilience.
