SKEMA strengthens the board of its MSc Global Luxury Management in Dubai
SKEMA Business School is strengthening the governance of its MSc Global Luxury Management with the appointment of three new members from leading players in international luxury, jewellery and high-end retail: Kering, Chalhoub Group and Tiffany & Co. These appointments support the programme’s development in Dubai, in a region that has become central to luxury houses.
A programme connected to luxury industry decision-makers
The board of the MSc Global Luxury Management welcomes Miral Youssef, President of Kering Middle East & Africa; Patrick Chalhoub, Executive Chairman at Chalhoub Group; and Robin Langlais, Managing Director and Vice President, Middle East and Africa at Tiffany & Co., who is also a SKEMA alumnus.
Based in Dubai, Chalhoub Group is one of the key players in luxury retail and distribution in the Middle East. A partner to many international houses, the group supports their development across the region, notably in fashion, beauty and brand experiences.
“As a SKEMA alumnus, it is a great honour to contribute to a programme that connects academic excellence with the realities of the luxury industry. The development of the Dubai track reflects the strategic importance of this region for luxury brands worldwide,” says Robin Langlais.
The programme’s academic dimension is also being strengthened by Emmanuelle Rigaud, who oversees the academic teams across the New York, Paris and Dubai tracks, working with Lea Kiwan, programme lead on SKEMA’s Dubai campus.
These appointments reflect SKEMA’s ambition to bring the programme closer to industry decision-makers and strengthen students’ professional immersion.
An international advisory board
The new members join an advisory board made up of senior executives, luxury industry experts and SKEMA alumni. It includes Vitalie Taittinger, CEO of Champagne Taittinger; Anthony Ledru, CEO of Tiffany & Co. and a SKEMA alumnus; Gary Pinagot, Marketing Director at Balenciaga; Fleur Siesse, Human Resources Director for Creative Functions at Chanel Fragrances & Beauty; as well as professionals from Campari Group, BSR, Pinterest, JD.com and SKEMA.
Dubai, a strategic market
Launched in 2019, the MSc Global Luxury Management combines academic teaching, applied projects and collaborations with luxury houses. The programme offers two specialised certificates: Luxury Digital Marketing & Strategy, developed with New York University SPS, and Retail Excellence and Client Relationship Management in Dubai, with a specific certificate delivered by LVMH.
With the opening of the Dubai track in 2025, SKEMA is strengthening its presence in an ecosystem driven by the growth of high-end retail, the arrival of an international clientele and the increased presence of major luxury houses. Opened in February 2025, the Dubai campus is SKEMA’s tenth international location and acts as a gateway to the MENA and Indo-Pacific regions.
By strengthening its advisory board with professionals involved in these transformations, SKEMA is pursuing the international and professional development of the MSc Global Luxury Management.
