Simplifying event planning with just a click—that’s the promise of Flaash, an innovative platform launched in December 2024 by twin brothers Antonin and Bastian Uliczny (SKEMA 2022), both alumni of SKEMA Business School’s Master in Management (PGE) programme.

Antonin, how did the idea for Flaash come about, and what motivated you and Bastian to start this venture?

It all started during our time at SKEMA Business School. Bastian and I have always wanted to build something together—we understand each other perfectly and complement one another’s skills. The idea for Flaash first emerged in our third year of the Bachelor in Business Administration (BSB), and we began working on it seriously when we joined the Master in Management (PGE) programme at SKEMA Business School.

We realised there was a real need to simplify the process of finding event venues—a sector that is often opaque and time-consuming.

We’ve spent our entire lives together, so we understand each other with just a glance.

What makes Flaash stand out from other event venue platforms?

Our goal is to offer a fast and intuitive solution. Flaash already lists thousands of venues across France, allowing businesses and event organisers (B2B only) to easily find spaces that match their needs. Our AI-driven innovation sets us apart, enabling users to discover the perfect venue in seconds.

Another key advantage is that all booking requests are centralised within the platform. Users can request quotes and communicate directly with venue owners—no middlemen involved. Best of all? Flaash is completely free for users. The platform operates on a win-win model, where venue owners pay a service fee. All users need to do is enter their requirements into the search bar, and Flaash’s AI instantly matches them with available venues.

How did your SKEMA experience help you in this journey?

Both of us completed SKEMA’s Master in Management (PGE) programme, which gave us a solid foundation in management and entrepreneurship. From there, we chose complementary specialisations: Bastian pursued the MSc in Digital Marketing & Artificial Intelligence, gaining expertise in data analytics, automation, and digital platforms. He now leads Flaash’s tech strategy and digital development. I focused on the MSc in International Marketing & Business Development, specialising in business growth and market strategies. My role is to acquire new clients and drive commercial development.
Thanks to these skills, we’ve built a dynamic, agile company that aligns with today’s market expectations.

You’re brothers and business partners—how does your duo work?

We’ve spent our entire lives together, so we understand each other at a glance. We operate as a team: I focus on the front office and business development, while Bastian manages technology and strategy. Of course, we sometimes disagree, but we’re efficient—we get straight to the point and find solutions quickly. There are even moments when we have the same ideas at the exact same time, without ever having discussed them! Being brothers also means we can hold late-night meetings whenever necessary. This strong synergy has already led us to collaborate with major companies such as LVMH, Capgemini, BNP Paribas, and Amazon.

What are your ambitions for Flaash?

In the medium term, we aim to:

  • Expand our venue listings across France.
  • Assess the carbon footprint of events, promoting sustainability.
  • Enhance AI integration to improve recommendations and automate tasks.

In the long run, we plan to:

  • Expand internationally.
  • Develop new features that will make event planning even smoother for users.
