Plan stratégique UNVEIL2030

2030, the time of revelation

“Our fourth strategic plan is based on both SKEMA’s unique and disruptive trajectory, as well as the need to respond to contemporary upheavals: the acceleration of artificial intelligence and the diversity of visions held by the world’s youth.

With UNVEIL, SKEMA aims to unleash potential and unveil talents, so that young and older learners alike can share a common foundation of knowledge, ambitions and projects, while cultivating their differences. Diversity is becoming our greatest asset in building unique, positive and sustainable societies.

Artificial intelligence is changing our relationship with society. It calls for profound reflection on the meaning of education and research, and on individual and collective responsibility. Our role is to ensure that artificial intelligence fosters creativity and integrity, rather than limiting the options available to the youth.

This fourth strategic plan, UNVEIL, affirms SKEMA’s uniqueness in the world, its role in serving territories and youth, and its impact on the transformation of societies. It commits all stakeholders to finding their true role and, with the support of the AI, to contributing to our ultimate mission: to enable hope.”

UNVEIL, revealing talents and unleashing potential

UNVEIL embodies an ambition: to unveil talents and unleash the potential of every individual. It is an invitation to adopt a mindset of responsibility and to act collectively to build sustainable realities. It underlines SKEMA’s commitment to promoting its unique model and consolidating its position as a pioneer in higher education and research.

In a world where inconsistency, ephemerality, and opinions frequently overshadow reflection and method, SKEMA has chosen to act as a revealer. It seeks to unveil:

  • The aspirations of the world’s youth and the qualities of its students, so that they become involved and act collectively to transform society.
  • The excellence of its faculty, in the form of diversity, uniqueness, and capacity for innovation in research and teaching.
  • The commitment of its employees, to transforming SKEMA.
  • The transformation of its partners, by supporting them in new ways of working and interacting with AI.
  • The influence of its alumni, so that it can continue to support them in their careers and benefit from their invaluable commitment.

Our revelation process

UNVEIL is built around four main strategic pillars, as part of a revelation process that benefits all stakeholders (students, learners, professors, staff, alumni, and decision-makers).

  • SEEK's objective is to help learners get to know themselves better, make the most of their talents, adapt to the transformations linked to AI, and act in a way that is relevant to their missions and environment.

Flagship 1: Elevate our learning, teaching, searching, and working experience in the age of AI

In an uncertain world transformed by generative AI, we must rethink teaching, research and working conditions. Interdisciplinarity and hybridisation are becoming essential to understanding complexity and meeting the major challenges we face.

    Concrete achievements

    • A SKEMA doctrine Learn, Teach, Search, Work in the age of AI: Defining a framework of thoughts and practices for learning, teaching, searching, and working with AI.
    • An Interdisciplinary Academic and Scientific Reference Framework: Analysing societal issues to deliver solutions to companies and institutions when faced with the imperatives of transformation.

    Flagship 2: Unleashing our talents

In a world where career paths are diversifying and people are seeking meaning in their commitments, showcasing talent is becoming a necessity. The goal is to bring out the individual and collective strengths of talented SKEMA students from all backgrounds.

    Concrete achievements

    • Augmented CVs and the creation of a platform to put students in touch with companies: Highlighting the unique experiences and skills developed in real-world conditions to facilitate integration and enable recruiters to identify the distinctive talents of SKEMA students.
    • “KOMPASS”, a guiding framework for faculty and staff: Highlighting strengths and contributions, identifying one’s area of impact, recognising the true value of each person’s contribution to the school’s development. This guiding framework becomes a tool for revealing and steering performance.
  • COMMIT's objective is to reveal new facets of our students, teach them how to collaborate in international and multicultural teams, contribute to the school's impact, and bring all our communities together.

Flagship 3: Leading and driving transitions

At a time when youth are seeking to understand themselves and others, take action towards a chosen future, and reconcile their professional and personal lives, SKEMA is transforming concerns about global issues into concrete solutions. Commitment and entrepreneurship are becoming essential levers for building the future.

    Concrete achievements

    • “Move for Good” projects: Missions undertaken by our students, staff, professors and partners, enabling them to make a difference through their commitment to mobility.
    • “AI for Accelerating Impact” programme: Using AI as a lever for innovation and creation to help tomorrow’s impact businesses grow.

    Flagship 4: Empower global impact

In addition to the training of students and the faculty’s commitment, the relationship with companies will be crucial. It will no longer be limited to linking with recruitment needs, but will allow us to co-construct initiatives that will have an impact and generate new opportunities.

    Concrete achievements

    • A global impact observatory: This embodies our desire to measure and promote the impact of the SKEMA community’s actions.
    • Business hubs bringing together companies and alumni across all campuses: creating collaborative ecosystems deeply anchored in local realities, promoting immersion for students, offering initial and continuous development courses adapted to local and global realities, and supporting the emergence of new high-impact initiatives.
  • The objective of BUILD, the third strategic pillar, is to create exceptional environmentally friendly working spaces where our teams and learners feel valued, motivated, and fulfilled. They would also have access a comprehensive, unified range of programmes and services, anywhere, anytime.

Flagship 5: Be acknowledged as an inspiring workplace

SKEMA's faculty and staff create the conditions to strengthen the school's reputation, highlight its societal commitment, and contribute to its academic reputation. They play a key role in ensuring the appeal and impact of SKEMA. The challenge is to strengthen HR’s strategic role, nurture organisational culture, and enhance the value of the brand, with a twofold ambition: the development and recognition of expertise and the promotion of commitment to serving the public good.

    Concrete achievement

    • A ”Great Place to Work” (and Study) label: we are rolling out an ambitious transformation programme, including skills development, mobility, digital and AI tools, and a redesigned workplace. Through a dedicated Transformation department, we strive to offer an enriched experience, earn the Great Place to Work label, and shape campuses that reflect identity and innovation.

Flagship 6: Shape the global education platform

SKEMA is becoming a global higher education platform, offering a unique and unified learning experience across all its campuses worldwide. By integrating AI and new technologies and guaranteeing access to all courses and services, this platform of educational excellence combines local impact with global standards, enhancing skills and talent.

    Concrete achievement

    • An intelligent organisation enhanced by AI: making programmes easier to understand, recommending the most suitable courses, pooling resources and harnessing synergies to offer a fluid user experience of excellence and impact on all our campuses.
  • With GROW, SKEMA aims to explore two new locations, help address the region's major challenges, and boost employability through short learning cycles.

Flagship 7: Reach our transformative scale

SKEMA's growth and the achievement of critical mass are necessary to bring about the necessary social and societal transformations. SKEMA’s international model enables it to remain a leading, cutting-edge institution on a global scale, respecting differences, and making this diversity its unique signature.

    Concrete achievement

    • Two new campuses in the Indo-Pacific region by 2030 (India and Australia): To enrich students' choices, strengthen their global vision in this region of expansion, raise awareness of environmental and climate challenges, and develop innovative solutions based in particular on respect for nature.

    Flagship 8: Pioneering new frontiers

SKEMA has long been committed to hybridising its programmes — in particular through the creation of 4 thematic schools (AI, Law, Geopolitics, and Design) — and intends to encompass and accelerate these initiatives to meet the needs of sectors in search of professional skills (healthcare, retail, etc.) as well as the expectations expressed by the stakeholders in regions SKEMA operates.

    Concrete achievement

    • A School of Professional Studies (SPS): Developing vocational and technological programmes, as well as certified training opportunities, for students less prepared for long academic studies, and for professionals undergoing retraining or career transitions.

Tomorrow’s SKEMA: a global platform for higher education

In 2030, SKEMA will be much more than a school: it will be a truly global platform for higher education, an interconnected space where knowledge, culture, technology, and commitment blend together.

  • An open ecosystem beyond traditional models — a vibrant network connecting talents, territories, and disciplines.
  • A seamless global experience for stakeholders, driven by AI-powered tools and models.
  • A global brand in higher education.
  • An institution embracing society’s complexity through interdisciplinarity.
  • Locally adapted programmes with international recognition.
  • Globally reputed research and a unique ability to measure its impact.
  • The augmented SKEMIAN: who knows his or her purpose and human added value. They are agile, international, trained in AI, and highly sought after.
