Gargantue’Sk
The Gargantue’Sk oenology association was created in 1992. Strong in its history, it mainly aspires to make all students discover the cultural richness that wine and bierology represent.
Overview
Through its many events, especially appreciated by SKEMA students, the association seeks, on the one hand, to share its values that are family spirit, sharing and curiosity and, on the other hand, To benefit from the aromatic and cultural palette of this emblematic sector in France.
Keys events
Tastings: The aim of tastings are to make students appreciate the sensory characteristics of a wine as well as to initiate them to the art of combining the flavors of foods with those of wines. Many tastings are done in collaboration with other associations such as Enactus (Talk & Wine), Océane Sailing Team (oysters and white wines), Metamorphose, or even Prisme (opening with champagne tasting).
Semi-vin: the semi-vin is aimed at discovering the time of a weekend in Burgundy and Champagne in a castle, wine professions in their reality but also the opportunities that this area could offer us, all accompanied by three tastings.
Cuvée: presentation and tasting of an exclusive cuvée carefully selected by the members of the pole, accompanied by a gourmet meal.
Tasting in collaboration with Cambridge University Blind Wine Tasting Society: The University of Cambridge’s wine association invites 50 students from Skema to participate in their famous weekly tasting.
Biero aperitif: beers tasting to learn more about the world of bierology while enjoying local dishes.
Semi-Biero: a weekend of discovery and awareness of the theme of Berology, in Brussels, European beer capital, with brasserie visits, which are accompanied by tastings, and the beer museum.
