On 25 March, SKEMA Business School held the first edition of its SKEMA Awards at Ritz Paris, introducing a new format that extends the SKEMA Leadership Award, previously centred on a single distinction. With the launch of the SKEMA Awards, the school broadens this recognition to celebrate several career paths reflecting the diversity of commitments, responsibilities and impact embodied by a network of more than 63,000 alumni across the world.

“What we are celebrating tonight is the strength of a community that moves forward, supports one another and creates economic, social and human value,” said Alice Guilhon in her opening remarks. This new format builds on an award already established within the school’s alumni landscape: the SKEMA Leadership Award, which honoured Mathilde Thomas in 2024, followed by Anthony Ledru in 2025.

Four distinctions were awarded during the evening, each recognising a singular career path.

  • The Audacity & Impact Award went to Luc-Olivier Pieret, co-founder of Ramdam Social, for an entrepreneurial journey shaped by social impact.
  • The International Career Award was presented to Julie Bourgeois, chief executive of Anine Bing, in recognition of a career built across international environments.
  • The Engaged Alumni Award was awarded to Laurent Beaurepaire, founding partner at UFO² Consulting, for his sustained commitment to the SKEMA Alumni community.
  • Finally, the SKEMA Leadership Award honoured Fabienne Arata-Camps, now Managing Director of LinkedIn France.

An initiative recognised through a distinguished award

Presenting the award, Jean-Philippe Courtois highlighted the significance of Fabienne Arata’s career, shaped by a determination to turn professional influence into concrete opportunities for others. “Fabienne Arata-Camps reminds us that leadership is not measured by titles or positions, but by what one does for others,” he said.

Beyond her executive responsibilities, he also pointed to her commitment through several inclusion-driven initiatives, notably the creation of L’Alliance, a mentoring network designed to support job seekers from modest backgrounds and promote a more inclusive approach to professional development.

Concrete support for students

Her commitment to SKEMA has also taken the form of a full scholarship created for a student, designed to encourage ambition and strengthen self-confidence. Present at the ceremony, Amyra, the first recipient of this scholarship, embodied that commitment to transmission. “Creating opportunities for others, fostering inclusion and encouraging talent across generations is how we build a fairer and more innovative world,” Jean-Philippe Courtois added.

A new milestone for the SKEMA community

Through this first edition, SKEMA is establishing a new annual gathering aimed at highlighting career paths where professional achievement, collective commitment and transmission converge. The evening also shone a light on the role of donors committed to the school, whose active support helps open new opportunities for students, in service of academic excellence and global openness.
