As part of its ecological, social and societal transition strategy, SKEMA highlights and records all student-led initiatives with a positive impact throughout the academic year. This reference document covers the period from September 2024 to June 2025, showcasing student association events, conferences, competitions and individual projects aligned with the SD&CSR momentum of the Master in Management (PGE) programme.

These concrete actions reflect the commitment of SKEMA students to inclusion, environmental protection, health, solidarity and responsible innovation. They complement the academic and pedagogical dimension of the PGE, through dedicated transition modules, impact-focused learning and socially driven gap year missions.

In addition to the list below, several noteworthy initiatives have marked this academic year:

  • Biodiversity and Climate Conference – led by Paul Leadley (Université Paris-Saclay) during Transition Week, exploring the interdependence between ecosystems and global warming.

  • Google Cloud Hackathon – students from the MSc Artificial Intelligence for Business Transformation won second place with a personalised educational AI-based video game.

  • Hope Lille – Animal Protection branch won the 2024 Youth Award from the Jane Goodall Institute France, funded by the Yves Rocher Foundation. The €5,000 prize was awarded on 26 April in Paris.

  • English Channel crossing by kitesurf – a project by Marius Lesage and Oscar Masson (L3 PGE), in partnership with the student association Océane, aiming to raise funds for “Tous en mer” and to promote access to watersports for people facing hardship or disability.

  • CyCl’One – a solidarity thrift shop project by Enactus SKEMA Lille, winner of the Enactus France x SNCF Foundation Award for its circular fashion model and hands-on sewing workshops.

  • SKEMAFRICA Lille was awarded first prize at the FEAC Gala (African and Caribbean Student Federation) for its humanitarian project to renovate a primary school in Bilone, Cameroon – led by Emilie Ndjie, with institutional support from SKEMA and the federation.
