Dr. Pierre A. Daniel is associate professor in Project Studies at SKEMA Business School. He is the scientific director of the Specialized Master in Management of Projects & Programmes at Skema BS, on the Lille campus.

He was a visiting professor at University of Technology, Sydney (UTS, Australia) between 2003 and 2007. He has been a visiting professor at HEC Geneva (executive programmes) for 10 years.

Dr. Pierre Daniel teaches on his domain of expertise: strategic management of projects, uncertainty management, complex project organizing, project performance, multi-level perspective. He focused his research activities on understanding how to manage complexity and uncertainty in large projects and programmes (megaprojects, major programmes, transitions to sustainability). 

Dr. Pierre Daniel has been a trainer and consultant in the domain of Complex Programme Management and Strategic Project Management for international companies: Philips, Bonduelle group, Veepee, Office Depot, Lesaffre group, Wavetone.

He developed the DevelopmentModeling® Methodology to design and manage complexity in projects and programmes.

He is now Key Expert of the Decommissionning Management and Leadership for Safety Education (DMaLSE) projects. The DMaLSE project is funded by the European Union
