Abstract
Facing the environmental crisis, energy producers are moving from carbon heavy energies towards greener energies. This article aims to study, on the retail market, how to redesign the traditional business model in order to support this sector transformation. A new business model is proposed and its managerial and legal impacts are analyzed. It will be based on a redefinition of the producer-customer relationship as a combination of resources to organize, and on the introduction of the concept of result-oriented service. The implementation of this new business model will require to review how stakeholders are working by introducing in their day-to-day business institutional and territorial actors of the energy efficiency.
