The exchange provided an opportunity to review the project between the two institutions that was initiated last year: the establishment of an academic transfer for first-year engineering students from the Colorado School of Mines to SKEMA Business School.
During their time at SKEMA, these students take mainly scientific courses (mathematics, physics and chemistry) as well as courses in French language and culture. This allows them to benefit from a unique study experience in an international environment.
This collaboration is a benefit for both partners as well as for the American students who are delighted with the training provided by SKEMA.
New avenues were discussed for this new year with, among others, the implementation of a specialisation in artificial intelligence within the SKEMA Global BBA.
Last year, SKEMA's Global BBA welcomed around 20 first-year engineering students. Starting next year, the Colorado School of Mines plans to welcome not one but two groups of about 30 students each semester from our Global BBA. This is great recognition of the quality of the scientific courses in the BBA programme.
