New equality workshop from the Women and Companies Chair at SKEMA

Published on 21 January 2019

The next “equality workshop” from the Women & Companies Chair at SKEMA will take place at 18:30 on Monday, 28 January 2019, on the Lille campus. This workshop, led by Judith Vieille, founder of the Epices & Chocolat agency, will address “Management and equality in the workplace: the keys to action?”

In January 2017, SKEMA received official support and €95,000 in financing over three years from the Égalité Mixité Foundation (founded by Axa, Engie, Michelin and Orange) to set up campaigns aimed at our students on the school’s three campuses in France to promote equality in the workplace. The workshops, which form part of the campaigns, have been a resounding success.

The “equality workshops” are organised on SKEMA’s three campuses in France (three workshops per campus per year). They are more specifically targeted at first- and second-year master’s degree students. The workshops, based on collective intelligence, are spaces for confrontation and co-construction between students, researchers and representatives of the economic sector, who together can address the issue of equality in the workplace and the resources necessary to incorporate it into managerial and/or entrepreneurial practices. The aim is to work together to guide the thought process on these issues in an active and collaborative manner.
