SKEMA celebrates its 10th anniversary in China

Published on 29 May 2019

SKEMA Business School opened its doors in Suzhou (China) in 2009. Its 10th anniversary in China is being celebrated in two steps: there will be a prestigious dinner for SKEMA alumni in Shanghai on 30 May, and the CCIF gala evening on 1 June, at which our school will be the guest of honour.

Our Chinese campus benefits from the immediate proximity to Suzhou Dushulake Science and Education Innovation District (SEID), with which SKEMA cooperates regularly.

Nicknamed the Venice of the East for its numerous canals and renowned for the beauty of its environment, including many traditional gardens, Suzhou currently has over two million inhabitants and is expanding to include two huge technological parks hosting 118 of the 500 largest companies in the world.

In these 10 years, the campus has grown rapidly and has enabled thousands of students to not only immerse themselves in the rich traditional Chinese culture, but also explore the flourishing economic hotspot that is among the best cutting-edge technological centres in the world.
