SKEMA Student Engagement day: find out about societies

Published on 07 September 2021

SKEMA offers a rich tapestry of associations, reflecting the diversity of student life at the school. That is why it is organising SKEMA Student Engagement Day across its French and international campuses on 10 September. This unique event will be an opportunity for all learners to find out about the associations represented.

Student Engagement Day is for all students on all programmes. It will run on all campuses. In the morning, SKEMA teams will talk about what it means to be part of a society or club, and also raise awareness of student welfare topics. In the early afternoon, a lecture hall will focus on community life on international campuses.

Meet the student societies

From 3pm on the French campuses, new students will have the opportunity to meet members of associations at Lille, Sophia Antipolis and the new Grand Paris campus, to learn more about their projects and actions. “The aim is to give new students an opportunity to meet each association, and to raise the profile of those associations that tend to lack visibility. Students can then choose to join one or at the most two,” said Axelle Sapy, head of student associations at the Lille campus.

A project unveiling to end the day

SKEMA student association teams will close this day of outreach and contact-building by presenting a large-scale multi-campus project planned for late September, on the theme of sustainable development.
