The webinar titled “Post-crisis: economic and strategic intelligence for our regions, the example of Normandy” was organised by Digimind (global leader in social listening and strategic intelligence, partner of the MSc ISI), VeilleMag (the magazine for strategic intelligence professionals), SCIP (a global community of strategic and competitive intelligence professionals) and SKEMA on 16 June 2020. It analysed the strategic consequences of the Covid-19 crisis for Normandy and proposed some resilience and crisis recovery scenarios for the region’s economy.

This webinar, hosted by Aurelien Blaha (chief marketing officer at Digimind and chapter lead of SCIP France), shone a spotlight on the expertise of the MSc International Strategy and Influence (ISI) students.

VeilleMag then published a summary of it (available here − in French).

Initially, the subject was a case study for the students. Since I am on the global board of SCIP, I suggested the idea of sharing the insights and latest research, because the Normandy region is a pilot in the implementation of a regional economic intelligence programme. The idea appealed and it quickly developed. I helped the students to prepare and develop the crisis recovery scenario forecasts, It was a success in terms of audience numbers and we received a lot of very positive feedback. The scientific committee of the MSc, comprising high-profile personalities and experts, was very pleased with this successful initiative that confirms the unique character of our training, combining strategy, influence and economic security with a very strong international and digital dimension,” explained Christophe Bisson, programme director of the MSc International Strategy and Influence (ISI).
