The sessions were moderated by councilman Steve Rao and provided insight into different businesses, local and global across Raleigh’s Research Triangle Park region. Special guests included: Deverre Leirman, Digital Transformation leader at Infosys, Elif Balkas, R&D manager at Cree Wolfspeed, Larry Goldberg of IHS Markit, and Kurt Merryweather, VP of Strategy and Transformation at WalkWest, The Diversity Movement. SKEMA students had the opportunity to meet our guests and ask questions about the industry as well as upcoming job opportunities and career advice.
These sessions were held every other week throughout fall with one speaker as the guest. SKEMA students across all SKEMA campuses attended these sessions to get insight into top American companies in Research Triangle Park. This was an effort to grow SKEMA's company relations and maintain visibility of companies for students throughout, and despite, the pandemic. SKEMA hosted these events to also provide a platform for special guests to share and take the stage globally.
