Women leaders: SKEMA launches Everything is Possible

Published on 08 March 2017

The work of the SKEMA Observatory on Women in Business (l’Observatoire SKEMA de la Féminisation des Entreprises) shows that the most sustainable and growing companies are those that favour more women in management roles.

However, the gender balance in senior executive teams is still very much unequal.

To make a change to this, SKEMA Business School is launching the Everything is Possible project with its students. The Equality and Diversity Foundation (created by four companies involved in the promotion of gender diversity: Axa, Engie, Michelin and Orange) supports the project by granting it a budget of €95,000 over three years (2017-2019).

The project's objectives are to "counteract systemic effects and misconceptions", in order to open up new occupational perspectives in sectors where men are over-represented (such as finance and entrepreneurship) and to "create a real culture of professional equality for all students".

The Women and Business Chair of SKEMA Business School was created in 2016 with the purpose of producing and sharing relevant information on the place of women in business.
