On 20 September, SKEMA and EADA Business School, Barcelona, signed an agreement to implement a new joint BBA programme offering a double degree. Through this alliance, SKEMA wishes to develop its European roots, while relying on an institution with an excellent reputation and ranked 28th among European business schools, according to the Financial Times. For BBA students, it offers multiple advantages. "For our students in SKEMA's Global BBA – a programme with 50% international students representing more than 60 different nationalities – it is an opportunity to study on the EADA campus and immerse themselves in the global city of Barcelona, with its ultra-dynamic economic centre," explains Patrice Houdayer, SKEMA's Director of Programmes, International and Student Life.
Specialisation and an ideal environment
In the heart of a megalopolis with more than one and a half million inhabitants and a thriving economic centre, the students of this double degree programme will be able to follow the "sustainable innovation" specialisation track and benefit from optimal learning conditions, thanks to a renovated and ultramodern campus of 4,000 m2 located in the centre of Barcelona.
From September 2022, students in the new EADA X SKEMA Global BBA programme will be able to spend the first two years on the EADA campus in Barcelona, after which they can join a mobility programme in the third year on one of SKEMA's seven French and international campuses, and then complete their final year either in Barcelona or on one of SKEMA's campuses, depending on the specialisation they have chosen. At the end of their course, they will receive a Diplôme d'Études Supérieures en Management International des Entreprises from SKEMA as well as EADA's own diploma.
