Through this partnership with Villa Blu, SKEMA aims to complement the dynamic ecosystem of creativity and innovation developed since 2017 by SKEMA Ventures. The collaboration between Villa Blu, an initiative launched by Robertet (a global leader in natural products for perfumery and flavours headquartered in Grasse, just minutes away from the Sophia Antipolis campus), and SKEMA Ventures is set to provide a unique springboard for SKEMA students and graduates to conceive, test, and launch impactful projects related to naturalness and sustainability.
Villa Blu's accelerator will bring technical and sectoral expertise as well as the ecosystem of a global leader in naturalness, while SKEMA, through SKEMA Ventures, will continue to provide a value chain conducive to growth and innovation.
Working on tangible impact initiatives
This union between the two organisations will also see a regular influx of projects integrated into SKEMA's curriculum, providing students a valuable opportunity to work on tangible initiatives. Beyond resource and knowledge sharing, both entities plan to organise joint events to facilitate discussions and collaborative learning. In this regard, connecting SKEMA students and entrepreneurs with Villa Blu experts and/or early-stage startups in the naturalness sectors is a unique opportunity.
Developing innovative and sustainable business solutions
In an increasingly sustainability-conscious society, this partnership could be the catalyst that students need to develop innovative business solutions focused on naturalness and sustainability. It will become a distinguishing feature for SKEMA entrepreneurs, who will now have access to a unique platform to develop, test, and accelerate their impactful entrepreneurial ideas.
